Glor, you got my gist.

Basically, multiple autonomous and interdependent/intersupportive communes. We don't need physical barriers to separate them, either, simply demographical boundaries. The growing and splitting plan works really, really well, too, because then we'd be directly connected enough the help them get started with a lot less initial work than the first one would take (mutual aid).

I motion that we agree on housing approximately 30 members assuming on our current 26 acres move this thread to the archives.

Vov was right.  From what I've read in John Seymours book "the self sufficent life and how to live it"  We shouldn't try to have more than one person per acre.  So I"m thinking we should have 20 people and then six acres of wetlands and communal space/buildings.
