Because we haven't made a definitive decision as of yet (aside from berming):

Any underground facilities have tunnels implied.

I'm going to wait to vote for a little bit.  First I want to discuss a couple things before I make my decision.

I've found out that cob can work in damp climates.  That was one of my biggest concerns with it.  However does anyone know how well it would work underground?  I think We would at least have to line it with plastic if we used it underground.

Cob is the only thing that I'm waiting to vote on otherwise I've made up my mind.

Might I also suggest that we construct an exercise area, either inside or out?

Z, there'll be 26 acres of exercise area with such equipment as shovels, hoes, rakes, and water pumps.

Damned thing only gives 10 options, and I think that we should have recreational facilities inside the facility/underground compound if we build it.

And you won't want or need to exercise with THAT much land to harvest... We need a tractor and a till.

Glor, I'm thinking an area designed for exercise, with various semi-natural pieces of equipment (I say semi natural because I would rather not have us buy or rent actual exercise equipment and instead build something like an obstacle course).

I say we build excersise equipment. and a basic parkour area would be pretty cool: teach a skill, have fun, and get in shape.  Razz

You know, construction is pretty cheap right now, at least according to my uncle who is a contractor and they're all desperate for a job right now apparently.

Berming sounds awesome. They look like HOBBIT HOUSES. Oh my god that is great.

about the cost of construction... has it gone up with the current economic recession?
