There are two girls at my school who are full on hippies.  I'll invite them.

Also, can we get some magnetos for some hand-powered electronics? Crank up a lamp and have it run for hours (led of course) instead of relying on a generator?

aren't those a horribly ineffeicent way to get power?
i've tried induction with neodimium magnets and got about 2 volts. (this was on a bike to make it spin faster)

Wind-up shortwave radios. You'll get several hours on 60 rotations.

My laptop, PSP, PS3, a TV or two, a mattress maybe too with beds (one wooden, one metal, probably won't be able to bring the metal one). Lots of canned food, a lot of blankets, fabrics, LOTS OF BOOKS! (D&D, french, travel, art, writing, literature...), PC and PS3/PS video games (if we have the power to run a PS3 and anyone even wants it Razz I love it to death but I'm willing to give it up), a car with a GPS...hmm....Possibly a fairly good gaming PC...hmm...some clothes I can share that no longer fit if anyone wants em...probably some more stuff. Razz Oh, and if it's okay, a rabbit and some sweet cats.

Hopefully I'll have fabrics, too.
By the way, would anybody/everybody be interested in having their own custom-designed, tailor-made wardrobe? I'm gonna start work on my own soon and maybe start a small business at college to get practice, and when I get good enough I'd be willing to offer my services to the commune free of charge!

I'd love my own clothes Razz Not sure how that would work from over here, and don't have much money...so I'll just wait until I'm (hopefully) living at the commune then bum off of your skills for free XD

I'll bring all the fabrics I can for ya, and you can teach others your skills Smile

Tuff, I think you should list everything that has been volunteered in the first post to make it easier Smile

lol. Sweet. What fabrics do you have and how much of them, by the way? (I'm an extreme fan of velvets and laces).

Hum, no clue really, I don't know anything about sewing, even though my grandma is a huge sewing nerd (which reminds me, I might be able to donate my mom's old sewing machine).

I have this one huge shiny red fabric piece, and some large blue and white fabric...not really sure, have to take a closer look, but it's all yours if this goes through Smile
